Nature and man and nature...

Lots of thoughts whizzing around my head tonight. Mostly about how disappointed I am that man can't see what he's got without trying to make his mark on it.
It's one thing to try to sensitively tame the brambles and nettles in your postage stamp of a back garden so you can sit outside and enjoy some lupins and some evening sunshine and maybe grow some strawberries and live in harmony with nature.
It's another to say, 'Oooh, that's nice! I'll have some of that,' and change it without thought for what you might lose forever and only think of profit.


It's greedy, shallow and it makes me mad.
