Poo Bubble
This handsome fellow was good enough to hang out on the delphiniums for me, posing and blowing bubbles.
I expect he's been having a good feed on the manure on the veg beds. YUM!
Talking of which - we have veg sproutings!
The peas, the beetroot, the courgettes, the broccoli and the cauliflower have all taken off. It's very exciting.
Richard dug out the foundations for a greenhouse today. We're getting a tall hexagon one for the tomatoes (and because we're tall). I've cut back the hedges and planned an area that we're going to separate with apple trees - one of which is already there and we're going to add 2 that Joel grew from seed from an apple he ate 2 years ago (might take a few years before they look like trees!). The door of the greenhouse will face the veg plot and the west. So I'm hoping it will be nice on late summer evenings and a bit like having an allotment.
Bring on the tin cups and the largest carrot competition! ;o)
