Water

Water everywhere today. Filling Marjorie's tank followed by the Harecastle Tunnel, where it drips and pours from the ceiling. Perhaps understandable as this 1.75 mile tunnel is 235 years old (and surprisingly difficult to drive through.)

As we emerged I had to answer lots of questions from a group of young cyclists, who should have been at school with their enquiring minds.

Marjorie then sailed into torrential rain,
so has moored from the night. The guide book maintains there are 3 pubs half a mile away. Hmm, we shall see. On Sunday, the nearby pub didn't serve food on Sundays. Yesterday, the "restaurant/brasserie" by the mooring was "closed on Mondays." and the pub in the village was shut for demolition.

Today's blip is a row of cottages beside one of today's 22 locks, along with a large family of ducks.
