63

Last year, on a voyage around the Cheshire Ring in late June, as Marjorie approached lock 63 on the Trent and Mersey Canal, steam billowed from the engine, hissing malevolently. It transpired that a hose had become detached, causing coolant to leak. After 24 hours the repair was completed and off we set.

Since then I have spent £!!!! having the engine overhauled and all the hoses renewed.

This morning, as she approached lock 63 on the Trent and Mersey Canal, steam billowed from the engine, hissing malevolently. It seems a hose has become detached, causing coolant to leak.

So now I am waiting patiently for the mechanic from the Marina to come and fix it. I am reading Stephen King's latest novel "11:22:63" which deals with travelling back in time. To 63.

Please note my feet in the shot. Also, the end of the offending hose is near the centre of the shot, with a grey right-angled thingy on the end.

All advice will be courteously considered.
