I accidentally discovered Blip in late 2011 and am delighted that I did. It has become a joyful, every day obsession. An addiction with no negative side-effects.

I have enjoyed photography for over 50 years.  I have early childhood memories of attending strangers' weddings with my father, a weekend wedding photographer.  I vividly recall the smell of the developing chemicals and the magic of the emerging images.

My first camera at age 5, my first SLR (a Zenith) at 15 and dozens more since.  Currently I use Canon DSLRs and an iPhone.

I have always taken large numbers of photographs and have masses stored that I rarely look at. Blip compels me to be selective as well as showing me hundreds of great examples of others' work each day. I've learned loads in just a short time.

I also have lots of pictures on Flickr

A new venture, as of 2016, is  - www.superlative-walks.com - produced with a group of friends, including numerous photographs.
