Again!

Everything was going so well. We got through Stoke on Trent comfortably, making good time. I took lots of photographs of the area's characteristic bottle kilns, such as the two in this blip.

Then, just South of Stoke,
Again, down we broke.

The same problem as before but with more serious implications. A very helpful company, River Canal Rescue, sent someone to help us. His diagnosis means we will have to be towed back to our marina for the repair job. That will take a few days.

On the positive side, at least there is a pub a half mile away that does serve food.
