Son Baulo, C'an Picafort

We arrived safely at Son Baulo Hotel, in C'an Picafort in the north east of Mallorca on Tuesday 8th.  However, it was dull, overcast, and we were pretty much the same having been up since 2am.

This was our first trip out with the camera.  Our hotel is right on the beach, literally.  3 steps down from the terrace in front of the dining room and you are on the sand.  Walk 20 yards to the right, and we were on the edge of the 'Natural Parc', a huge conservation area. 

It's very beautiful here, rugged rocks, crashing waves, all the usual seaside accoutrements, plus a decent bit of heat.  We walked for a mile or so, to the Marina, where we admired the boats before having a beer and some padron peppers before making our way back to the hotel. 

We are on a 'half-board' basis, and were delighted to find the food is both delicious, and plentiful!
