Jelly Fish incident

Our last day, so we spent the morning on the beach again before doing a bit of shopping for gifts to bring home.

The Life-Guards haven't been much in evidence, except for occasionally coming down to walk the length of the beach a couple of times a day. However today a young woman got stung by a jelly-fish, and they had to administer first aid and then get an ambulance for her.

Gave me a nasty turn, because it had never entered my head that there would be anything poisonous in the sea. We have been swimming so much because of the heat, as has everybody else including little children.

Apparently it was a bit of a fluke, but it was obviously very painful. Hope she was all right.
