Part two of the return trip: Reims to Calais (nice thunderstorm on the way too), quick crossing on the ferry then back to the land of terrible roads and appalling traffic. How can it be that we can travel from Switzerland on 2-3 lane roads with no problems at all, then when we get onto the 5 lane superhighway of the M25 there's utter chaos? Probably something to do with the three lanes of trucks all racing each other at just over 50mph...
