Featuring frilly fuchsia

A good nights sleep and a cuppa in bed to start what appeared to be a sunny day!'

A light breakfast of muesli and fruit from the garden, with Greek yoghurt, as we were going out for lunch with daughter and partner.

A walk for Sunday papers, followed by a leisurely read, and a mid morning coffee.

Lunch consisted of a chicken curry as none of us fancied a Sunday roast, having had one yesterday ;-) with a couple of drinks. We stopped off at the house on the way back,to,check out their painting efforts yesterday. They had done quite a lot, spare room, their room, en suite and part of the landing.......all white, so the rooms look enormous! Hopefully by the end of the coming week downstairs will be in a similar position.

This shot was taken of just one of three fuschias that are planted, together with begonias, in the hanging baskets on the front of the house. I decided that I would use larger plants this year, rather than the usual summer bedding types, and it has paid off big time, they are looking great, really big and full, with no gaps ;-)

Such beautiful and intricate flowers fuchsias produce..........just like a ballerina!
