Me and my shadow!

We went out with friends last night (hence my late blip for yesterday) had a lovely meal at Nutters Restaurant in Norden then back to their house for plenty of chatter that went on and on....very late to bed, not too much sleep, so feeling a bit jaded now! It was literally monsoon conditions during the drive over there, but dried up overnight and then started pouring again mid morning on our drive home! The dark clouds have just parted, it's stopped raining and the sky is bright blue.....what bizarre weather, cue a blip! The garden was suddenly alive with insects trying to dry themselves off after the deluge, including this gatekeeper butterfly!
