Peony Rose

This rose is in full flower just now and very beautiful.  I have included a rare shot of the HG relaxing on the deck.   He was very busy yesterday in the garden when I was gallivanting in the city, so deserves his wee rest.

When I walked to church this morning it was only 8C, it seems cold air had come in from Iceland (thanks a lot Iceland)...... it was a bit of a shock after the lovely temps we have been having.  However, by our walk in the afternoon it had improved somewhat and was 13C and sunny.
