Hello 'Dolly'

What a lucky girl, today Bracken got a new collar and a new 'Dolly'. All her soft toys are dollies and they generally last a couple of months before disintegrating. Not because she chews them but after being used daily in a tug of war tussle, being licked to death and used as a pillow the poor things find their stuffing coming out and limbs falling off! It's a serious business finding replacements, this one was in the Oxfam shop where I did my weekly shift this morning. Perfect, right size, no beads in it's bottom or other loose bits and it's very appealing!
Had a super lunch out to give a huge boost to the day. Spent time later in the afternoon cooking and freezing meals in order to a) use up some fridge items and b) make sure the 'ready meals' drawer in the freezer is well supplied for when I am next away.
An evening of reading, planning and relaxing with a glass of red.
