Look who's in town!
Set off earlier to visit an exhibition about the geology of the North Yorkshire moors, the crags and scars. A clever presentation and some lovely images by local artists. Soooo tempted by a couple of prints, may sneak back at a later date!
Dropped into Thirsk to see what was going on. The square was full of people enjoying if not the sunshine, at least a dry and mellow day of weather. There was music and dancing next to the clock which is the centrepiece of the square and the fish and chip shop was doing a roaring trade. I couldn't resist this shot of the guy with the mobile looking for all the world as if he were about to help HM down from the clock's plinth!
