Tense and tens

So that's my TENs machine (pictured) which is currently strapped to my back as we think I might be in the early stages of labour. Not really sure and I keep lurching into denial. Part of me is convinced this is a false start as its 10 days before my official due date.
But then again I always thought that was calculated wrong!

Had stomach ache last night and weirdly my sister texted me to ask if I was OK. Woke up at 3am in agony with what I presume now were contractions. Decided not to wake my husband as he had to be up at 6am. At 4.30 he stirred and asked what was wrong so fessed up! Contractions then came thick and fast for a few hours before tailing off late morning.

At a bit of an impasse now. Get a few contractions (are they contractions, still not convinced!) together but sometimes long breaks between. Phoned hospital and they are saying stay put at home for the moment.

This TENs machine is great though. They hurt much more before this gadget started working its magic. Highly recommend!
