A walk in the park...

Yep, another lazy day. Yep, another walk. Yep, another park. There's a pattern developing to my maternity leave!

Watched the Jubilee Concert (a bizarre affair) last night and stayed up until after 1am so had a lie-in this morning to compensate.

Late start to the day with bacon sarnies and a pot of tea, walk round the water park (familiar?) and then spent the afternoon at our friends house for a BBQ. They had invited another couple who recently had a baby too and it was lovely to relax and talk baby stuff without fear of boring anyone!

Our friends live right on Chorlton Green so we had a birds eye view of the Jubilee street party outside the Horse & Jockey pub which quickly descended throughout the afternoon into a quasi-rave much to our amusement!

Home for a nap and a night on the sofa.

Took today's pic of a couple walking round the water park. They were quite dressed up for a walk in the park and had that "first date" look about their body language. I liked the light and the way it looked as though they were walking into it along the path.
