Freedom!

Phew, that's them in bed and quiet after quite a hard day. Ella was not "on the sunshine" today. She's been hard work. All the tights her mum packed were classified as "too tight" so it took ages to get her out. (We wanted to get to the beach early as the cloud was rolling in and rain was forecast). She decided to put on her swimming costume and a fleece so we went to the beach like that. They enjoyed making castles - well Ella made them and Nathaniel smashed them down.

Here she is enjoying racing about in and out of the sea. Nathaniel didn't like it till the end so he didn't want to go home. We left when it got colder which worked well as we were able to keep Nathaniel awake by singing along on the drive back to Jerry Lee Lewis - Beebopalula is Ella's favourite. After lunch he had his nap.

Later Ella helped me make eggy bread for their tea.

Meanwhile the parents had breakfast in bed in their posh hotel, and lunch at 21212, then met friends. They are coming back after breakfast tomorrow - the kids will have had lunch, going by the time they had that today! They say they are having a really great relax so that's great.
