Courtyard Café, Imperial Palace, Vienna

Today's highlight was the visit of Klosterneuberg Abbey dating back over 900 years. It is famous for its artistic treasures and collections and the Verdun Altar, a magnificent spell-binding treasure, which dates back to the Middle Ages (see extra photos front and back). The later part of the day was spent relaxing and taking in the sites around the heart of the city of Vienna.
