Half way done

Thank you for all of yesterdays kind comments.
Today's Blip is a work in progress shot of Mrs IntotheHill's painting that we went to take some more studies for with yesterday's view (HERE) . This represents about three days work (which is probably half to a third of the total work that will be involved) - when I left for London this morning there was no sky and Branstree and Haweswater were uniformly green and blue respectively - the process for oils is slow & laborious - but each time I'm away for a bit there's a change - till suddenly its done & it's like magic - as if it was always the beautiful finished article.
I'm guessing the little tree will be next - but as ever I could well be totally wrong, and that's half the fun.
