Strut like a mouse

Stuey and I have reached detente over the cage cleaning regime. He now just poops in one place and that is no where near his food supply or his nest. This localised toilet activity is a new thing I am sure designed to dissuade me from evicting him and wrecking his home when it's time for a clean.

He has been more and more reluctant to get into the 'mouse caravan', so today I hoovered out the old bedding while he was asleep (leaving his nest alone). 

Amazingly he didn't freak out, but popped out to check what I'd done afterwards.

On a photographic note, my latest Canon 50mm f2.5 macro gave up the ghost today, so this is the last picture I took with it. They last about 2 years before the sensor stops talking to the camera body. When my first one failed I took it for a diagnostic check and it would have cost more to fix than to buy a new one.

I have the same problem with the Canon 50mm f1.4 (I'm on my 4th one of those). This sucks really!
