Went to the "elderly falling down" clinic this morning. Put on my my lipstick and hoped not to fall off my purple high heels.

Drove back along military road and on to Keswick for 'Words on the Water' literary festival. Here is Polly Toynbee signing her book after a great talk (with David Walker) called Radical Conservative Rule. The Tories who had not heard of her got a shock! Great stuff.
