Homeward bound

After a busy day day and a half in Spain testing the new Kia Sorento, it was time to head home this afternoon. Barcelona airport has the most wonderful and highly reflective marble flooring, so I couldn't resist this scene for today's blip.

The weather in Barcelona and Sitges was cold and rainy yesterday, then cold and overcast today. Another group of journalists who were over there with Ford were also blighted by the conditions, with thick mist obliterating the view from their mountain-top hotel yesterday, and snow on part of their test route.

Landed back in London to a cold bright day. We flew over the Thames in visibility clear enough to see teams of rowers busily pacing their way down the river. Brrrrr. Bet that was chilly!
