In a Twizy

After last week's range anxiety in a Nissan Leaf, another electric car has arrived for testing this week. It is a Renault Twizy, a tandem two-seater that reminds me of a giant-sized flying bug with its wings chopped off. If you want one, you won't see much change from seven grand, and that doesn't include the doors. They're an optional extra at around another £500. Doors not standard? Did someone mention the British climate?

It's funky and fun to drive, but I won't be going too far in it. In warm weather it has a range of about 30 miles. In a British January ... ? I'll let you know.
