Rain in Spain

Another day, another car launch. Flew to Barcelona this morning with Kia for the first international drive of the new Sorento. This was the sight that greeted us on arrival: the cars lined up awaiting the start of the test drive.

Leaving behind a bitterly cold morning at home, where I had to apply generous quantities of de-icer to clear all the car glass at 6 a.m., I was looking forward to a bit of warmer weather and preferably some sun here in Spain. No such luck. It is very chilly here too, and has rained more or less continuously since our arrival. Not just on the plain, either. No, I'm not expecting any sympathy.

Maybe it will dawn milder and brighter tomorrow, fingers crossed! It had better hurry up. We fly home again tomorrow afternoon ...
