It was another half day for me and it was nicely productive.

When I got home it was to find my few fitness monitoring gadget has arrived allowing me to monitor my movement each day, steps, swimming strokes etc.. It will count the calories burnt too, in theory, and monitor my sleep patterns. We'll see. The main aim is simply to log my normal movements first to see just how terrible I am. I'm hoping that like logging my eating this year, it might act as a visual aid to help me understand things better and ultimately act as motivation for me to change my bad habits and start challenging myself. But it's one step at a time. (Loving the pun....)

I decided to make spinach soup so popped out for the ingredients and I have made a bucket load, which should keep me going for a few days and I'll maybe put some in the freezer too.

Both lodgers are back this week so it's beginning to feel like normal again now. It's been nice to catch up on some news.
