Looks Good To Me

Another Selection

It's not really a selection -- these bottles just happen to have accumulated on the kitchen counter and need to be put away -- or drunk.

The Hales Quadruppel and the Wee Heavy (aged in bourbon barrels) were two of the beers in the brewer's dinner* Cynthia and I went to on Saturday. We both thought they were outstanding, and we weren't the only ones -- the remaining bottles for sale were quickly snapped up. We were pleased to find some more at Elizabeth Station, a new Bellingham beer store with a huge selection of interesting beers. They also have a few beers on tap. I'll be going back there before very long.

After pickleball this morning, I took the dado blade with chipped teeth to Bob's Super Saw Service for surgery, and picked up the blade that I used to cut a groove in my garage concrete floor (unintentionally). That one just needed sharpening. The diagnosis on the dado blade was to replace the three teeth at a cost of $15, not as bad as I feared.

I'm going to try very hard to avoid any further contacts between saw blades and concrete!

* C reported on the dinner in her Saturday and Sunday blips.
