Sammy The (Well-Dressed) Salmon

Tonight the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA) held its annual community celebration at The Majestic in Bellingham. It's a joyous occasion for meeting old friends, reviewing the successes of the last year, eating good food (smoked salmon is de rigueur), and drinking Boundary Bay beer.

NSEA's mascot, Sammy the Salmon, was out on the street, inviting passers-by to the the event. He decided it would be appropriate to wear his best red vest, but needed some help getting dressed.

It was a great evening. I was once again reminded how proud I am to be a member of NSEA.
