Jacob's Ladder

Not really; our roofer is called Lee. Did think of going up there to see what state the roof was in but ladders are not really my cup of tea. Tomorrow I'll probably climb out of the bathroom window onto the porch roof and then use a stepladder to get up on to the roof. A couple of years ago I was on the roof on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis. But the roofer did a good job over the spare bedroom and I haven't been up since. Beginning to think old houses are for young men. Or should that be rich men which I'm decidedly not.
