Moray Firth
Another cold day but after taking a quick shot of the census bumff this morning I decided this afternoon to go to Rosemarkie again and potter among the rock pools. Never made it as I spent time walking up from Fortrose in search of St Boniface well which is marked on the map. Couldn't find it - have an idea the original site is now part of someone's garden. Then tried to capture a shot of a pair of pheasants - amazing how fast they can run. This is a shot taken over the roofs of Fortrose looking south or south-east across the Moray Firth with Chanonry Point, with its lighthouse, jutting out from this side and Ardersier on the far shore.
