....come on you reds.....

February 6th 1958....10 days before I was born...the Munich Air Disaster. I often get asked why I'm a Manchester United fan, when I'm from County Durham...I should be a Sunderland fan...or even a Middlebrough fan, the team closest to where I was brought up. What can I tell you? I remember the 1966 World Cup when I was 8, but the first big game that grabbed my attention was in 1968...the European Cup Final at Wembley....Man Utd 4 - Benfica 2....and that was it....I was a fan through all the lean years...through the 70's and 80's when they won a few F.A.cups. I even met the Holy Trinity (Best, Charlton and Law) at a Cup game at Middlesbrough!.....and then the 1992/93 season when they won the first Premiership title..............I guess it's like the woman you fall for...you just can't help it.

Quiz League tonight....against the Sun Dial....another win. Never in doubt from the first question.

Round 3. 21-13
Round 4. 23 -13
Round 5. 29-16
Round 6. 37-27 A bit of a blip...but the opponents did have ridiculously easy questions for four pointers compared to ours.
