....Out on the wiley, windy moors......
It didn't rain today for the fishing.....but it blew a gale all day, and grey clouds scudded across the sky at amazing speed.
Charlie and Sam pulled their usual sneaky trick, agreed to meet at 8, but when we got there they were already on the two "best" pegs.
Gordon also pulled a fast one and turned up early as well.
Shaun and I got there at the right time.
Roy, as usual, arrived late.
Charlie caught a few, but really he wasted the best spot, I had 22 out of it last week he caught 12 today.
Sam only caught two all day.
So justice was served. they got up earlier, nicked the best spots and performed really poorly.
When I left the house the Boss was sound asleep and the Daughter had only been in for about 2 hours. When I got back the Boss was out at IKEA .....again.......... and the Daughter was almost asleep on the sofa.
Had a shower to warm up, watched the match and now just waiting for food, the Daughter is cooking....Noodles, minced beef, onions, mushrooms and a mushroom and tomato sauce, cooked slowly in a big casserole dish. Mum used to make it, I've no idea what it's called as she always referred to it as Noodle Doodle!
This week at work should be slightly less hectic as a whole year group are out for work experience and another group are out on work shadowing on Thursday. All I have to do is construct a timetable for Thursday's non-participants, mark 5 sets of books and teach 16 lessons.
