A bottle of JD, wrapped up and ready to wing its way to my friend Vladimir in Osmk, Siberia tomorrow. A party from school are going off for a week in the snow...unfortunately I don't get to go this time...although earlier this morning I did get asked if my visa was still valid as one of my colleagues who is going was having a problem with the Russian Embassy and getting a visa.

Fortunately for him the problem has been resolved and he's off for the trip of a lifetime....how I wish I was going with them! It's a bit warmer than when I went, daytime is around -1 celsius and nights around -9. When I went it was -27 in the day and below -30 at night.

My friend B has had his op today....4 hours in theatre...but he's back on the ward now and hopefully back home by the weekend....so that's a bit of good news.

3 more days until half term....God it's dragging!......... and then the fun starts...so far for next week I have an appoinment at the dental clinic to have my extra tooth examined..Monday 8.30....a trip to the dentist to have two extractions...Monday 11.30....a BP check...Tuesday 2.15 and the car is booked in for an MOT on Wednesday! Birthday Thursday....Friday might be a trip to Dad's and then bugger me........ back to work!
