....busy doin' nothing....

Got up at 5.30 this morning to brush the snow off the Boss' car and dig it out a bit so she could go to work. Had to give her a bit of a push too, when it didn't want to leave the drive.

The plan was to go back to bed and have a long lie in....didn't quite work out....dozed fitfully until 10.00 then gave in and got up.

The snow was still covering the ground....it was foggy and bloody cold...so.....I did a bit of paperwork, fooled around on the computer, had a bacon butty with the daughter, watched the United match, phoned The Baking Bird to order some birthday goodies for myself next week and some for Charlie's 1st birthday in May, had a nice piece of salmon for dinner, made the Boss a coffee when she got home, went for a beer with B and D before B goes into hospital tomorrow....and then "Time for Bed" said Zebedee.
