Homespun Charms

Top of the world.

A beautiful day of blue skies and sunshine. The temperature hasn't risen much above 2 degrees which keeps everything nice and crisp. Did the morning shopping run in record time. Made soup for lunch, just the weather for it. Fortified from within we set off for the top of the moor again. Some snow and ice in the shaded areas but so lovely and clear up there. Not a breath of wind - if this is the high pressure that was forecast long may it continue. Some sections of the path were very wet and muddy so boots and trousers were in a mess when we got back and Bracken had to have a bath in the bucket.
Going out with friends this evening for a pub meal. That's two nights in a row, we're doing our bit to support village pubs! One of these days I might persuade J. to join Blip. She and I will spend a lot of time talking about various common interests, taking pictures is one of them. It will be a good rounding off to a varied and satisfying day.
Now, who's going to drive?
