More Movement

Was at an emergency Socal Work meeting with sister and parents this morning (as well as half a dozen 'social care' people).

Not sure how much good it will have done in getting more help etc for Dad but it was interesting to see how my sister changed a couple of things she was saying to the social workers compared to what she had told me ................ not good.

She is now back to being against having the kitchen replaced for Mum (tough - that is being done no matter what) and getting an electric chair to help Dad stand up ............ again overuled despite her getting some support for one of the care workers (who has failed to get the occupational therapist to look at the bathroom with a view to having that made more 'Dad friendly' as had been stated - although her boss has now said that has to be done).

Sister is also againt the 'power of attorney' being changed (she is the only one named despite there being 3 siblings) which is only for the finacial side and not the 'welfare' of Mum and Dad .................. I have to work on them to get that changed now while Dad can still agree. If it isn't changed then it could end up with lawyers making the desisions - at a cost every time. God knows why she is against that.

Had a laugh down in Dunbar watching the seagulls dive-bomb the Wicked Witches everytime they tried to go outside (the birds are nesting on the roof).

Here is a shot of Broken Cats (nearly) fixed leg. These are the marks left by the pins that were holding all the breaks together.

She managed to escape this morning when the postie delivered a parcel - but she only went out for a short time to have a pee which is good - means the risk of infection is reduced somewhat.

This is another shot taken for my challenge to capture movement. These were done by using a long exposure (1.3 sec)and moving the camera slightly so that you can (hopefully) still see what the subject is.
