On the way home from Rotherham today I stopped at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

None of the exhibits are what you could call small or subtle.
The exhibits cover a huge area outside and even if you are not a lover of modern art you will be impressed by the scale. (SWMBO described my Blip as the biggest candle snuffer ever).

It was a hot day - but sitting about in the nude was maybe a bit much.

I am not a lover of modern art usualy, but I liked the contrast of the random edges of the trees and the hard edges of some of the sculptures

The one that really tickled me though was the Anvil ..... although I think it would have been even better with a coyote under it rather than a rabbit on top of it.

Of to Inverness tomorrow ............... what a jet set life I lead.
