Rain & hail showers calls for soup: creamy cau

Pine nuts and a quarter avocado gave this soup the extra ummph today's weather required. Miso and lemon provided a stock and my seasonings included onion, celery seed, nutmeg, and cinnamon. The red/brown spots are pumpkin seed oil - turns green when you swirl it about. I couldn't resist a bit of sauerkraut to garnish it.

I let the Vitamix warm the soup up for me. I was rather pleased with the result - down the hatch in a jiffy.
