Northern Exposure

Blown

It was a fairly average autumn weather day. Bit o sun, bit o rain, bit o wind.

So after work this evening I dragged out the bike and headed off intending to be out and about for an hour or so.

I headed west, into a wind that wasn't happy. By the time I'd got to the top of the hill the nasty needle rain had joined in to punish me and my notions of going out for some fresh air.

I wimped out.

Turned round and suddenly the wind was on my side. Or I should say on my back, pushing me home. Didn't pedal once, just rolled along powered by the air for a couple of km. All the way back, past the house and then it shoved me down the hill to the graveyard.

At the bottom of the slope there is a gate, so I stopped and took a pic of the clouds being blown over my house.
