Below the clouds

A nice wee force 7 wind was blowing from the west when I went out on my bike.

Positive - the rain was being blown past and I missed most of it.

Negative - as I cycled west the wind was pushing my face and I crawled along

Positive - as I cycled east I was wind assisted and going really fast

Negative - I went west again

Positive - I went east again

Positive - I chose to go the way home via one of the steep hills

Positive - I got to the top and could still breathe. A year ago that wouldn't have been the case.

By my reckoning that's more positives than negatives which has to add up to a good way to spend a lunch hour.


Edit - just noticed that odd shadow in the middle of the wall. I'm assuming it's a telegraph pole... or a very skinny giant.
