Following the advice of pontycyclops today......"When you're stuck for a blip photograph some food!"

The Boss is away in Edinburgh visiting her brother.....he's recovering well after his horrific motor cycle accident more than a month ago. Physically it will be a long slow process....broken pelvis' don't tend too heal too quickly....and he is progressing nicely on all the other fronts after the head injury.

So .....I'm in charge!

Home from work to an empty house.....three hours of peace and quiet until the Daughter got home....played a little CSI on facebook, commented on all the blips I missed last night when I struggled to upload my blip, emailed jkj10, made a couple of phone calls, took a couple of phone calls......had a toasted teacake and a coffee.

The Daughter didn't want much when she got in.....and neither did I really....so I knocked up a couple of omelettes.

So what now?......wait from the phone call from the Boss.....watch CSI Miami...and then an early night...king size bed all to myself.....mind, you all know I don't sleep too well when the Boss is away so it won't be a good night, but if I go early I might get two or three kips of an hour or two at a time.

She might be back tomorrow.....or it might be Thursday....and then she's got three night shifts starting Friday......I'll be like a zombie by Monday.

Oh well.....these things are sent to try us.
