A Lifesaver!!

A freezing cold grey day, one of those days the sun doesn't shine and the rain doesn't come, the clouds just loom above thick, heavy and very dull.

The stroll round the garden didn't happen today - there were lots of short bursts out the door into the garden, quick shot and back inside to the laptop, upload and cringe, had to go out again - this happened soooo many times before I settled on this wee flower. It is like a weed as it just grows in every nook and crannie it can find but today it was my lifesaver - with a little light from photoshop it became my little gem and added a little brightness to this cold grey day.

We all had a rude awakening from another earthquake and then to top things off just when I was about to have a nice warm cuppa the power went off for an hour, I was a little cranky, no cuppa and no heating left me a little sad!

However, our bedrooms have the curtains up and the weekend is here - what a great feeling!!
