Big brother is watching!

After work took doggies out to the beach in Kilberry, a nice wee run. However there were a few things that irked me! First I simply loath these empire builders that insist on putting, spike, poles, boulders, barbed wire etc on the verge by their homes on single track roads. This is the height of bad manners, you cannot guarantee to meet everyone in a passing place and as a result of being on a narrow road you are forced onto the verge sometimes, especially with some pretentious folks who dont have reverse gear!

The second thing I hate is stupid signs! Please shut the gate! At Killberry beach there was a notice saying "the children of the primary school look after this beach, please can you do so too" strewth are we all that bad ? Alook at school yards after playtime says diffirent! Next there was a notice proclaiming"private" well this is Scotland where tresspass laws matter not a hoot unless you are doing damage! Next notice on the gate" bull on beach" This notice has been on that gate for the past number of years and the two times I ventured down I saw no bull so that sign is bollocks! Then passing through a wee village there as a huge sign with big red letters saying "SLOW DOWN" Why? a quick look at the gardens of some of the houses was enough to tell that the most popular shampoo in this village would be Go & Wash rather than Wash & Go! They probably wanted their feral free thinking children to play on the road and to Hell with drivers, these parents who think the sun shines out of the anus horribli of their bratty kids. Next notice was a laminated page saying "please respect the privacy of the sheep" !!! When the heck did these sheep respect my car when they leap out in Kamakazi fashion ! Final notice " please watch out for the cats" What bloody cats? pumas? lions? wild cats!

The final hazard was driving past Tarbert golf course which spans both sides of the road!!!!!

Then decided to have some food and went into the imaginately named CafeBarge! Ordered fried clams and tatties. Well the ashtray sized plate would have needed the Hubble telescope to find the 3 poxy wee clams that cost an eye watering £2 each! At least the service was good given I was the only customer! The Crabbies Ginger Beer was good though

All in all an interesting run
Have a good weekend all
