Across the Forth
It was a grey, rainy day and pretty damned chilly for June, I'd say. How unfortunate for Leith Gala day and for the brave folk who did the Naked Cycle Ride (including a blipper, I see - well done supergran!).
We went round to the parsfans for a meal in the evening to hear about their Canadian adventures (I didn't like the sound of those biting black flies) and lots of free cabaret from wee Stan.
The bike ride campaigns against oil dependency, and coincidentally the flare from Mossmorran (natural gas plant plus ethylene cracking facility) was highly visible across the Forth all evening. I only managed a hasty shot of it from the bus stop just as the no 16 approached, but there's a nice blip of it in daylight here by Instography.
