My husband bought me my canon 450d for my 40th birthday and made me promise to take a photography course. After three years of never changing the settings from automatic I finally got around to booking a digital photography course last September.

I am now finding my way around all the clever things I never realised my camera could do. I'm still struggling with getting the correct balance between the ISO settings and aperture and shutter speeds and only trial and error will help me understand it all.

I live in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex , a beautiful place to practice my hobby.
