I am very recently retired and more recently widowed and so I am trying to fill my life with various projects.

I'm knitting and sewing, catching up on years of lost reading time, "electrifying" the local theatre archives and determined to get to grips with the three digital cameras, the mobile phone camera and the iPad. The first interests may keep me housebound but blipping will make me leave the house at least once each day.

I am planning a house refurbishment this summer too so you can expect lots of pictures of plastering and plumbing to appear in my journal for a while.
