From a very young age, I was fascinated with anything that allowed me to create. Drawing, painting, sculpting, photography... if I could manipulate it, I loved it! As a student at Metro State College of Denver I studied Applied Arts to reinforce my knowledge on design and form. This only introduced me to more vehicles to express my creativity and thus began my love for digital media and graphic design. It came so natural to me. I loved what I did and people responded to what I produced.

I began working as freelance graphic designer and events planner about 14 years ago. Fine details and making others happy was an obsession of mine. My clients came back time after time requesting my services. From there I graduated to taking photographs. I mostly shot family photos and senior pictures, often donating my services to families and students who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to have a professional photo taken.

I have recently decided to use my photography as a creative outlet, taking more time to enjoy what I was shooting rather than making it a task.. "smile"... "turn this way".... "Lean in just a little more" made the shots feel less spontaneous. Taking a trip with my camera, listening to great music and finding a great shot has been a fun journey for me. Teaching me a lot about myself, my world and what beauty can truly be... you just have to look for it.

Because I love what I do, I have never worked a day in my life! Passion, dedication and fortitude are just a few words that describe me... and it shows in my work.
