Capturing Hailey

Autism is a funny thing. It has no rule book and there is no manual. You wing it every day. Hailey has Autism. It isn't always easy to capture a photo of her looking at the camera and without her being disheveled. There are a few times though when the moment feels magical and I am able to capture the essence of who she is. I pray that someday the true Hailey trapped inside will emerge and she can shed the chains of autism that plagues her. It is a tough hand to be dealt for sure. We love her though. I am thankful for her being placed in our lives. It has taught me so much.
