Melon Heart

When I was in art school, one of the things they had us to is take photos of thinly sliced fruit that we stuck to a window facing the sun. Today, while cutting watermelon for the kiddos, a slice came off so thin that it looked like flesh. I remembered my art school exercise and wondered what it would look like through a lens... really wished I had a better camera to grab the photo, but all I had was my phone. So I found a good cookie cutter an sliced again... this is what came out... I think it would be fun to try this again.
