I've been posting on blipfoto for almost 10 years now.  blipfoto gives me a purpose to keep using my camera and to keep taking photographs. It is also such a generous and supportive community.   

I live in North Norfolk, just three miles from the coast and so find plenty of inspiration from the beautiful area around me.  I still have a lot to learn about taking and processing photographs but I'm enjoying expanding my knowledge through learning and being a  member of two camera clubs.

 I feel that contributing my images to blipfoto on a regular basis has enabled me to get more familiar with my camera and increased my confidence, although some photos are taken with my phone if I don't have my camera with me when something catches my eye.

My husband bought me a website for a significant birthday so that I had somewhere else to show my photos.  He now shares it with me to display his watercolour paintings (often inspired by photos that I've taken on my walks around the coast and countryside here).
