I'm an illustrator who loves children's book illustration. I'm currently illustrating a children's middle grade novel by Karen McQuestion that is due out this November. It's my first children's book so I'm quite excited.

I was born in Southern California but my heart is rooted in the Pacific Northwest where I lived for 14 years before moving to Indiana in 2007 to be with my partner who is working on his PhD at Indiana University.

Besides children's books, I also love dogs (& other animals), gardening and flowers, animation, classic movies, movie soundtracks, broadway musicals and design from the arts and craft period to mid-century modern. I collect toys and all sorts of paper ephemera, often dealing with children's books or motion pictures. I also love reading comic books and graphic novels.
